Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. (Psalm 1:1-3)

Like a tree planted by the rivers of water: FBC encourages our young adults to hear the preaching of the Word, read the Bible, and lead them to be the salt and light of the world in the future.

Bringeth his fruit in his season: FBC teaches our young adults to be involved in ministries, to be useful, busy in the Lord and not to waste their time for the things that are in the world. We lead them to be successful and fruitful. We pray for them that our Lord Jesus Christ will bless them with the right spouse to marry.

Leaf shall not wither: The Bible told us that Christianity is not easy. It is not a smooth sailing way of life especially now in the current state of our society. But God promised not to leave us nor forsake us. We always pray for our young adults that our God will protect them from the wickedness of this life, from the wiles of the devil, and from their fleshly desires. FBC has activities to maintain close relationships with brothers and sisters in Christ.

Whatsoever he doeth shall prosper: If our will is in tune with the will of God, He will prosper us and bless us abundantly.

Young adult ministry includes high school graduates, college students and those in their 20s single or married.  In addition to preaching, Sunday school, and other church's ministries where young adults can mature spiritually, leaders Will and Sarah Ellis usually schecule outings for the group to build a strong friendships with fellow Christians and to allow everyone to get to know each other, to encourage, and to let the newcomers fell welcome to the church, and most importantly to keep them busy away from worldly activities.
